National Scout Hall Makeover Competition

Here is another challenge for all groups – We are looking for the best Scout hall makeover in the country.

So it’s time to change that old signage on your building, mow the grass, clean the windows, slap some paint on the walls and get your hall rebranded, looking smart and presentable.

In order to qualify you will need to send us the following information:

· Before and after pictures of your hall showing the changes which have been made.

· Your Troops name and the address of your hall.

The winning Troop will WIN a Scout Branded feather banner!

Entries Close – 26th March 2012

The criteria for judging the winner will be as follows:

· Originality

· Creativity

· Best use of the Scouting branding

Helderberg District Scouts support Firefighters

Scouts from the Helderberg District in the Western Cape mobilised quickly to support over two hundred fire-fighters and
conservation staff during this weekend’s devastating wild fires on the Helderberg
mountain that saw eleven houses and a hotel burned to the ground.
