On 13 March 2011, 110 Gauteng Scouts and 3 commissioners got together at Delta Park and the Delta Park Scout Camp Ground to participate for the first time in Africa Scout Day.
The theme of this year's Africa Scout Day was "environment" and the participating Scout Groups worked on various projects at the Camp Grounds.
