3 PE Scouts joined the SA contingent to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree which took take place from 27 July to 7 August 2011 in Kristianstad, Sweden.

P.E.Scouts attending World Jamboree
3 Scouts of Port Elizabeth - Juan Jonas (1st Westend), Dean Glennie (1st Walmer) and Michael Vosloo (Humewood Sea Scouts) are attending the World Jamboree in Sweden. We're looking forward to heaps of photo's and stories when they get back on 7 August.
World Jamboree Scouts Trike Expedition
Australian Scouts, Adam Kilpatrick and Stephen Warren-Smith, are riding recumbent trikes from their hometown of Adelaide, South Australia, to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Rinkaby, Sweden.

"Waka Waka" 2010
"Waka Waka" has been made popular by Shakira for the Fifa World Cup in South Africa. BUT "Waka, Waka" has also been the accepted greeting for Scouts on the recently held HALP (Habiter Autrement la Planete) (alternative living on our planet) Jamboree on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, which came to an end on 7 August.

Scout Arab Region Invitation
The Arab Region (Arabic: الاقليم الكشفي العربي) has once more invited the South African Scout Association to send Rovers (2) to this popular event. First held in 1998 to foster brotherhood amongst the youth of the world, this, the 13th International Youth Gathering for Cultural Exchange will be held from 14 to 25 July 2010 in Cairo Egypt.
